Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MTPAY platform, APIs, developer SDKs, or services hosted at mtpay.shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Services

MTPAY provides automated payment reconciliation, merchant order routing, dynamic UPI QR generation, and cryptographic webhook notification infrastructure to verify direct bank-to-bank UPI transactions.

3. Merchant Obligations & Acceptable Use

Merchants using MTPAY agree to:

  • Use the gateway solely for lawful commercial transactions and genuine goods/services.
  • Never engage in fraudulent schemes, deceptive phishing, unlicensed gambling, or illicit content distribution.
  • Provide honest and transparent pricing, delivery terms, and customer refund policies on their storefronts.
  • Protect their API secrets and pairing tokens with rigorous security hygiene.

4. Peer-to-Peer & Merchant UPI Settlements

Customer payments travel directly from the customer's bank account to the merchant's configured UPI VPA. MTPAY does not hold merchant funds in escrow or custody, eliminating middleman settlement delays.

5. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend any merchant account found violating Indian payment regulations, engaging in suspicious chargebacks, or violating platform terms.
